Hi, I’m Niels, a mechanical engineer and all-around technology enthusiast with a passion for problem-solving, precision, and pushing the boundaries of how things work. Whether I’m designing solutions, optimizing systems, or exploring new tools and innovations, I bring curiosity and commitment to every project I take on.

Outside of engineering, I live an active lifestyle; obstacle course racing, working out, and staying fit are a big part of my routine. I also hold a private pilot licence and love flying on weekends, enjoying the freedom and perspective that comes with being in the air. When I’m on the ground and looking to unwind, you’ll probably find me around a table with friends, diving into a good tabletop roleplaying game.

I live in Rotterdam with my wife and our two cats. It’s home base for everything from outdoor adventures to late-night game sessions and quiet evenings with family.
